Information Overload

13 Aug

So sorry it’s been practically FOREVER since I posted… Fail on my part. I’ve been busy.

Well, my summer is basically over. On Monday I return to school…….Duhn duhn duhn! I’ll post up my schedule later, once it’s set in stone and whatnot. 😉

Fiat 500 presentation in Turin

Really, not much all that interesting going on. I’m ready for school and pretty darn excited! Oh, I have found out that I think I want a Fiat 500 for my first car. They’re inexpensive for a car, and they’re super cool. Check ’em out.

I have done a buttload of drawing though…so here’s a little art dump:

Oh, one more thing; I think I’m scrapping the Quorra costume thing. It’d be too much effort. I think I’m going to just buy an original Star Trek dress thing, and then wear some leggings with it and borrow a pair of boots from a friend. Much easier. 😉

Well…That’s all for now! Promise to have a bigger update when I have more news… 😛

God bless,

Doctor Who “A Good Man Goes to War” – Review

11 Jun

Shorter review this time, I promise!

So, just finished watching the half-season-finale, “A Good Man Goes to War.”

First off:

WOAH.

WOAH.

The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond

WOAH. SRSLY?

WHAT.

WHAT?!?!?!?

(Spoiler warning now)

Headless monks were FREAKY. Seriously. Ughhh scary. War chant stuff and everything….!!!

I really liked the big series 5/6 reunion though. Usually they don’t bring ANYBODY back. Doctor’s Daughter Jenny, Human!Doctor (10), NO ONE. So the big reunion was nice. I had to think back a bit, though, to remember who people were. A second go-around really helped, too.

Flesh-baby was downright scary though. Really scary. I did NOT see that coming.

That entire episode was confusing, but I must say that the ending was fairly easy to follow. And I say fairly. It was sad and happy and scary, and so good. One of my favorite episodes, definitely. I’ve loved the show even more since Matt Smith and Stephen Moffet got on board.

Melody River Pond Song was just kinda crazy though. I liked it though. Kinda makes sense…I think. I did NOT see it coming though. At all. It was so good…I mean, River was all yelling at him one minute and then BAM! she’s like, “Hey I’m Melody Pond.” And then his face and his reaction! Genius. And giggling. 😛

I actually thought she was his mom at first…But this is a lot better. Didn’t go the easy route.

Rory Williams

Rory! Rory Rocks.

I think, this is just a thought, but I don’t think Rory and Amy will stay much longer. Amy was pretty dang ticked, so I bet that at the season break, pop, they’ll be off. The whole creepy poem thing kind of foreshadowed that.

But I liked Rory! Great writing/acting for him. Rory rocks. Lone Centurion, HECK YEAH! Rory is one of my favorite companions. Pond too, but Rory rocks.

A great episode for a great season!

10/10

Did this for a contest. 🙂

I love it so… 😀 I worked very hard on it. Like, Did a manga picture when I am a non-manga drawer now. Yeah. But the Doctor deserves manga 😛

Doctor Who Drawing

Dalek Drawing. Proud of this one. 🙂

Little Comic-ish Thing I did out of boredom. And humor. 😛

An ID I made for dA. Fun. 🙂

I'm so proud of this. 😀

Goofy little self-portrait of myself being a princess. Used color holds! 🙂

self portrait in the Disney style, a style I have found to like.

My dog. What she does when she gets me up at the crack of eight o' clock. She's going INSANE right now. All she does is squeak squeak squeak...

And they'll have fun fun fun till her Daddy takes her Time Lord away....I don't know. That just popped into my head. Any Whovians/Beach Boy fans will get that. 😛

Slight redesign in Roxanne. My fave is the full body shot.

Nicholas doesn’t like wearing suit and tie stuff. But Roxanne is dragging him to her (unusual) friend’s wedding…thus, cummerbund time. 😀

An alternative outfit for Nicholas. Suspenders and a nice, green striped shirt. I like how this came out.

I need to color this one. It's actually another alternative outfit, because it's gone from vest to waistcoat and the colors are different. Will color later.

Tried a bit of perspective. Turned out nice.

WOT?!

3 Jul

Just read this:

Johnny Depp rumored to star in Doctor Who big-budget film

…Johnny Depp as a Time Lord … that we’re not so sure of….And yet that’s what we might be seeing on the big screen a few years from now if the info uncovered by tor.com is correct….But the trustworthy tor.com did some digging on its own, reaching out to studio sources who said that “the casting of Johnny Depp as the Doctor for a 2012 film is confirmed.”

WOT?!?!?!?!

No. No. Next they’ll be casting Paris Hilton (once she gets out of jail in South Africa for having Marijuana) as Rose! COME ON!

This BETTER not be true. Our good chaps in England are very peeved at the fact that Depp isn’t a Brit; I mean, sure, I can see that. If they’re making an American version and recasting it (Which I don’t think is a good idea.), okay, cast an American, but it’s a BRITISH THING. It would be like having Brad Pitt be James Bond. Ew.

Okay, when I look at bow ties and colored scarves and the like, I think whimsical spacey-timey-wimey-fun. When I look at Johnny Depp, I think Pirate of the Caribbean, which was a good movie, but I also think weirdo. And because Depp and Tim Burton, a freaky person who writes freaky movies, are such Buddies, are we going to have him working on it!? So now Doctor Who will be marketed to the general public as a creepy morbid film. Whoop-dee-do.

There isn’t as much of a Doctor Who craze out here as there is in England. A lot of people watch it, but you couldn’t go running down the streets screaming, “I’M WEARING A VEGETABLE!!” and people actually getting what your saying. So, if they try to market Doctor Who out here by making a movie in 2012, and it turns out awful and weird, what are the people here going to do? Watch it? No. Or, maybe they will. Maybe the people of the U.S. like dark, morbid, weird Sci-Fi, like Battlestar: Galactica, or Stargate: Universe. Have they outgrown the happy-go-lucky Science Fiction we know in the forms of Star Trek and Doctor Who? The 1960s Sci-Fi ideas were some of the better, in my opinion. Not like a running gag, but there is humor in it to lighten it up, and nothing is always so dark and unhumorous.

Don’t do it Russel T. Davies, DON’T DO IT!!

Sweet Dreams Are Made of This

11 Jun

Yes, very famous song.

I had…four? Yes, four dreams last night. All were pretty good dreams too. I’ll go in order:

I had a dream that I was in a room, like a set or an after party or something. I’m looking around the room, wondering if I’ll see David Tennant (I know, random, right?). And lo! and behold, who do I see? David Tennant. So I run up to him and say, “I LOVE YOU!” And then I got my picture taken with him, but it was on him phone, so I wanted him to text it to my phone and my email. But it was a hassle. And he talked kind of funny; not how he normally talked.

Second dream was that I was in a movie with William Shatner. AKA Captain Kirk. And it was a Star trek movie. That was cool. I like William Shatner. Like I told my mom while watching Star Trek: Generations, “Meet, Captain Kirk! He’s, like, 40 years old and still looking HOT!!!!”

I am weird….

Thirdly, I had a dream that me an a bunch of my classmates (All I remember were my friends Shannon and Joey) were in a sequel to a movie. It was something around the premise of “Cheaper by the Dozen” or some funny, family/kids movie. But…What was weird was, that number one, my friend Joey had been in the original one. So, then, the set burns down. Okay. But, the set was in a residential area, and the movie people are all, “Joey, remember where the other set is? Go show them and find it.” So here me and 15 some odd kids are wandering the streets, having Joey look for a set house. Yeah…

Lastly, I had a dream that I rode my bike to the summit of Everest. IF that’s not enough, I was wheelying the entire way. I was the second fastest bike-wheelie-er-to-the-summit, and that some organization was going to invite me to a little luncheon thing for doing it. And still, the guy who got first place was kind of disputed, because apparently he witnessed somebody attempting suicide, but didn’t stop and help, and that somehow made him faster…? Oh, and at the summit was an Indian village. Meaning India Indian village. Yeah. And there was this girl who was named Elizabeth was was hiding out there and being called Mia. I forget why. And then something happened and I was walking with a bunch of people and there was a tiger in there, and it freaked me out.

So how was your REM cycle?

IT IS FINISHED.

I would hope that animators get paid well.

Because I spent around, oh, at least 4.5-5 hours animating.

I am soooo proud though!! 😀

CHECK IT OUT. NOW.

Yes, I did many shortcuts.

And I need a chiropractor SO BAD. I HATE THIS COMPUTER CHAIR!! 😡

Well…I mean, it’s fine as a chair for the dinner table, but computer stuff is NOT it’s forté.

*Drops dead of exhaustion*

MY MISSION IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!

3 Jun

I have a very cool but may be slightly difficult to do idea.

I am doing to make a Carmelldansen video featuring, the one, the only, DOCTOR #10!!

For any Whovians out there who don’t know what Carmelldansen is, it’s this Swedish pop-electronic song that is sped up and then put in the background of a character/characters doing a dance where you move your hips from side to side while putting your hands on your head and flopping them up and down to look like bunny ears flapping. It’s a meme. I plan on making one. Seeing as I am awesome, can draw, can scan, can color, and can arrange pictures in a fast slide show to create an animation, I think I can do it.

How hard can it be?

My Things to Do Today

28 May

I am going to try to get a lot done on my first day of Summer Vaca. Here’s my Friday To-Do List:

  1. Sketch out as many commissions as humanly possible
  2. Paint a commission or two (Probably the easier ones :P)
  3. Go to Target and get a new PS2 controller.
  4. Make mom set up PS2.
  5. Play ”Grun Turismo 4” with my dad and race him around the Nürburgring. The Nürburgring is a racetrack in Germany. I think it’s on Top Gear a lot, so we want to race around it. I’m probably going to get that little Atom car and race my dad who’ll probably be driving a Lotus or a Aston Martin or maybe a Beamer or  a Mercedes Benz. I’ll probably end up crashing like Richard Hammod did in 2007. Go look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
  6. Watch Doctor Who! It’s the 2nd part of a Two-Parter. Not my fave episode(s), but good. It’s about them being on “The Impossible Planet”, which is a planet that is orbiting a black hole. Fun!

I have a question for all you gamers out there, too. Can you watch DVD movies on a PS2? I don’t know if I can have my mom set up the DVD player and the PS2 today, so if PS2s can view movies, that’d be nice.

ART DUMP!

15 Mar

Well I need to upload some stuff. I have been at the old drawing board for a month or so and have quite a good stack of stuff to show for it. Here we goes…

Nick takes Roxanne back to the 1700s. She doesn't do dresses. She just...doesn't. She is not happy with having to wear a big flouncy pink dress, saying, "I hate this thing!" (hence the title) Nicholas is trying to tell her she looks fine and stuff..but Roxanne ignores him. 😛

Hold on. The scanner was being an idiot and I have to rescan stuff…stupid scanner…

All better.

In an odd turn of events, Nicholas is turned into a six year old kid. Chaos insues.

Look up the Twilight Zone (I said TZ for short) episode "Nick of Time". You'll see William Shatner (<3) and this lady. I stole the dress and put it on Roxanne. 😛

Eh. It's an okay picture. Their expressions are stupid though. 1960's theme, kudos to Agent S, sent via text. 😀

Picture I did for Merl0ck (Look at the Blogroll on the side). It's her character. Drawing is © Me, Shadik is © Merl0ck.

Last but certainly not least (It's my fave of the bunch!) is a picture I have spent a month or more on. It's a chibi version of the tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant (<3) on the BBC show Doctor Who. Drawing is © Me, Doctor Who is © BBC, and that awesome background is © whoever made it. I got it off Google, so...yeah.

Well, that’s all, folks! I’m sitting at my computer chair occasionally coughing, listening to Oasis, and probably going to go off and get a sandwich and read “The Sable Quean” or draw.

By the bye, if you need me to explain the Roxanne and Nicholas (Or I sometimes say Nick), comment and I’ll explain it in full. 🙂

And this is SMLAAARRRRGGGG!!
